John Deere Green - March 11, 2019

Well, good morning folks.

Its been a good week! However, between the three exchanges we went on, daylight savings time, and the fact that I can call home, my motivation to write a large email is certainly waning. I'll give it my best shot.

My testimony of planning is only growing stronger every day. For example, this last Thursday, because of the new emphasis, we had 7 lessons scheduled between 5 and 8. Even more amazing, only one of them fell through! It was a crazy day, thankfully we were on exchanges so we were able to make it to all of them.

Oh and funny story, last pday we toured the John Deere harvester factory in Moline and got to see the entire process of making a combine. Those things are crazy. I never thought I'd get excited about farm equipment, but I kinda loved the tour. The coolest part was their painting system, which uses a bunch of MASSIVE tanks of water, acid, and paint, as well as some robots with electric paint that magnetically attaches itself to the metal. And of course, "We only paint one color, John Deere Green."

Anyway, transfers are this week. I'm probably leaving, so hold the mail! Who knows, I might even be around Elder Harvath again!

Also, s/o to all my friends who are dying, esp. Sis Harmon, Sis Bunn, and Sis Harris. It's been real. If I don't see you on Thursday, I'll catch ya in 4 months!

Godspeed,

Elder Housholder
