Homeless...Sorta
This week was crazy. I don't have a ton of time to write a ton of details, but I'll give a couple highlights!
Last Monday we came home from p-day to find our apartment in total disarray. Turns out our landlord decided to give us new floors. So we slept there that night, got it under control. Talked with him the next day, and found out we would be able to sleep there on Tuesday night, but that we weren't supposed to be in the apartment all day, and Wednesday night we needed to find somewhere else to stay. It was pretty rough. As missionaries, your apartment and the church are your home bases, but now we didn't have an apartment, and the church is 30 minutes away. It was exciting.
SO, on Wednesday, we went to Centerville for exchanges! I was able to go with Elder Aird, all of two weeks old in the mission, and he is so cool! He's already developed into such a strong missionary! It's still so weird to me that it's been a year since I was at that point. The mission flies by folks. It's nuts.
The other cool experience from this week happened on Saturday, but goes back to when I was with Elder Fuller (shoutout). He was always talking about a super cool guy he met named Tony. We probably stopped by this guy 100 times, but he was never there! So we found ourselves knocking that neighborhood this Saturday, and he was outside. Basically, he was as cool as I'd heard. He should be at church next week, and we have a lesson with him tomorrow. I'm pumped.
I love y'all, keep up the good work!
I'm terrible. No pictures again. I'm sorry.
Godspeed!
