A New Leaf- March 18, 2019

Aye, good morning beautiful humans!

Its been quite the week! It was transfers, and I've finally been released to be a normal missionary! I'm so pumped. I'm serving in the blessed land of Ankeny now, Elder Hunsaker is my new comp, and it's been #righteouslylit.

Transfers were super bittersweet though. Since there's a good chance that this is my last area, I might not get to see some of my people again (like S Longson, S Davis, Hna Stroud, E Cox, E Paulsen, E Shelp, E Harvath) ... Super sad. I did get to see some of my favorite people though! We went to lunch with some of the old Mt Pisquad (Clayson, Fuller, and Harmon) , and oh my, sweet memories. The absolute saddest part was saying good bye to Sis Harmon. Just wanted to give her the biggest shoutout for such a great friendship this last year. It was dumb lit.

Anyway, that's enough dwelling in the past! Things are going well here in the Rock Creek Ward. Spring is finally here, and people are actually outside! It's such a wonderful time to be a missionary!

There is something special about sacrificing things you care about for a cause that is bigger than yourself. The greatest cause of all is the work of Salvation, and there is no greater reward than the ability to bring others unto the Savior. Brothers and Sisters, no matter how much I might talk about people I miss, things I can't wait to do, or other things I care about, I want you to know that sacrificing all those things and more is a small price to pay for the chance to represent the Lord Jesus Christ.

I love you all, and I invite you to sacrifice something for our Savior.

Godspeed.
