A New Leaf- March 18, 2019

Aye, good morning beautiful humans! Its been quite the week! It was transfers, and I've finally been released to be a normal missionary! I'm so pumped. I'm serving in the blessed land of Ankeny now, Elder Hunsaker is my new comp, and it's been #righteouslylit.  Transfers were super bittersweet though. Since there's a good chance that this is my last area, I might not get to see some of my people again (like S Longson, S Davis, Hna Stroud, E Cox, E Paulsen, E Shelp, E Harvath) ... Super sad. I did get to see some of my favorite people though! We went to lunch with some of the old Mt Pisquad (Clayson, Fuller, and Harmon) , and oh my, sweet memories. The absolute saddest part was saying good bye to Sis Harmon. Just wanted to give her the biggest shoutout for such a great friendship this last year. It was dumb lit.  Anyway, that's enough dwelling in the past! Things are going well here in the Rock Creek Ward. Spring is finally here, and people are actual...

John Deere Green - March 11, 2019

Well, good morning folks. Its been a good week! However, between the three exchanges we went on, daylight savings time, and the fact that I can call home, my motivation to write a large email is certainly waning. I'll give it my best shot.  My testimony of planning is only growing stronger every day. For example, this last Thursday, because of the new emphasis, we had 7 lessons scheduled between 5 and 8. Even more amazing, only one of them fell through! It was a crazy day, thankfully we were on exchanges so we were able to make it to all of them. Oh and funny story, last pday we toured the John Deere harvester factory in Moline and got to see the entire process of making a combine. Those things are crazy. I never thought I'd get excited about farm equipment, but I kinda loved the tour. The coolest part was their painting system, which uses a bunch of MASSIVE tanks of water, acid, and paint, as well as some robots with electric paint that magnetically attaches itself...

Having Many Revelations Daily - March 4, 2019

Yakwe, Hola, Hello! First off, I gotta give a shoutout to my man JT McCain for getting himself engaged.   Well done.  This week has been really really good. It's been incredible to see how the Lord provides us with the harvest when we follow His guidance. We've been running from lesson to lesson all week, I've been busier than ever, and I've also felt more love than I have ever felt towards the people I'm teaching. I love being a missionary people!  Here's a couple highlights from the week.  First off, we had zone conference. It was a really powerful one, and especially fun because the rest of the mission was introduced to the new style of missionary work.  The coolest part for me though, was during Elder Clark and Elder Browns training on using personal studies to help the people we teach. We did an activity where we prayed for the person we wanted to help, and flipped to a random page of the Book of Mormon and looked for revelation to ...
