IT'S CHRISTMAS - November 19, 2018

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YEAR, AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, it snowed, I got christmas music, and they put up christmas lights all on the same day this week. I'm so happy. 

(insert random shoutouts to Elder Harvath, Elder Fuller, and Elder Steed) 

Anyway! Life is wonderful! This week was really busy, but as amazing as usual! We had our MLC on Tuesday, followed by interviews on Wednesday! We also had a finding day on Thursday in which our zone handed out 42 copies of the Book of Mormon! It was such a good day! 

Then, WE MOVED! 

We had to switch apartments with the YSA elders, because they're now in a carshare. So I have a new address. 930 Boston Way apt 11A Coralville, IA 52241 so please send mail there for the next month or so. Thanks! 

Brothers and Sisters, I just want to take this chance to share my testimony of Jesus Christ. I know that He really did live, and that He really did suffer and die so that we might live, and that our lives might be so much more rich and blessed by His infinite love and compassion. Please take opportunity this week to express to our Father your thanks for His Son, and then strive to continue in that gratitude and love throughout this Christmas season, by serving and caring for those around you, and by learning about the Savior of the world. I love Him. I love this chance I've had to come to know Him as I have this blessed privilege of serving Him. 

I love you all, and hope you have a very happy thanksgiving/CHRISTMAS!!!!

Big Plays - June 3, 2019

Our zone motto this transfer is No MOBP'S. That stands for, "missed out on a big play". Like in sports the plays that change the game, the big ones, require the most involvement and dedication. In the grand contest of missionary work, we are privileged to participate in many big plays, and this week has been full of those.  Brothers and Sisters, I can honestly say that there is no more rewarding experience than working for the salvation of others and finding yourself in the right place at the right time, as God calls a play that will change someones entire life. What an honor to be a part of this great work of Salvation. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a missionary, I love it more than anything in the world. SO.MUCH.SNOW.

Hello all you beautiful people!  This week has been pretty gnarly. I've honestly been reminded a lot of the year at camp when we got snowed in. Just like that week, we've had to shovel ourselves out almost every day. It's been pretty exciting. :D  Monday was pretty crazy. We drove to Ames for p-day, but while we were here a really bad storm hit, and they wouldn't let us drive home, due to a 80-something car pileup. Super scary. So we impromptu stayed the night in the tiny Boone apt with 6 missionaries. Good times.  Tuesday  we were able to drive home, I drove, since my comp is from Arizona and doesn't even know how to walk in the snow. (jk, he's super cool). We got home, had a lesson with Randy, and then the Boone Elders came to Carroll for an exchange. Just Chilling in Cedar Rapids-Sept. 10, 2018

This week has been wonderful! So crazy.  On Tuesday, we had exchanges with the fourth ward, and we had a riot. Cool experience that day, we were trying and trying to just eat dinner, but things kept getting in the way, and we kept finding people to teach, so our priorities were against eating. Anyway, after a baptism that night for the YSA, we decided to go to Wendy's. Right when we got out of the car, late at night, starving and just wanting to eat, a couple guys flagged us down and we had an amazing lesson with them. I love being about the Lord's work, and being able to put my desires aside to do the things he would have me do. Wednesday was interviews! That was crazy. We had interviews in Iowa City in the morning and then had to bomb it up to Cedar Rapids in the middle of the storm for interviews in the afternoon. Very long day.
