Tis the Season

Happy Holidays!

This week has probably been one of the longest of my mission.

Tuesday we were able to get a lot of work done, thankfully! We had a dinner with the Hood's, and they invited Linda to come for a lesson. It was amazing! Rick (aka: Richard) has grown so much, and is a powerful missionary. I've grown to love that man so much. I'm going to miss him a lot when I get transferred.

We had some awesome experiences throughout the next two days. It all culminated in an amazing lesson with Jeri! Hopefully she starts making church a priority again!

Then, on Friday, Elder Hutchings got sick. He's still sick. So I've been playing doctor for the rest of the week, and am pretty well done with sitting in the house all day every day.

So that's pretty much that! I don't have a lot to say, except for my testimony of the Book of Mormon. Through the last few days, I've had quite the chance to delve into it's truths. I've always been wary of saying that I know things. I believe a lot of things in the church and in life, but there are a few things I know. And one of those things is the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I have come to know, with certainty that this book is true, and contains the plan and direction for us to all find peace in this life, and eternal happiness in the life to come. I challenge each of you to consider how you can study the Book of Mormon more perfectly this new year, and resolve to do that. I promise that God will bless you as study and pray in faith. I know this to be true.

I love you all! I don't have a poem for ya this time, sorry. Hope you have a merry Christmas!

He may not have sent a picture this week, but a sweet lady from the ward always tries really hard to get pictures to share on FB, so...momma still got one this week anyway! :)
