Preaching Two by Two

Hello Friends and Fam!!

Well, this week was super busy! It went by so fast!!

Monday night, we were knocking a new part of town, trying to find a referral that Rachel gave us. No one answered, but we started knocking the rest of the area. We found this super creepy lady who looked just like the lady who turns into a snake in harry potter, she was super rude, and then she started walking her dog towards us 20 minutes later. I kinda freaked out. But we survived, and actually found a new investigator on that street! It was a good day!

Tuesday was interviews, and then the Higgins fed us a delicious dinner! I love them so much!!! But with interviews and a dinner, the whole day was shot.

Wednesday we went on exchanges in Hannibal, and Elder Olsen and I knocked for hours. People in Missouri are so hard-hearted. It's no wonder they kicked us out. But we did meet one guy who wanted to learn more. He said he worships clowns though, so I'm not sure how that'll go. Super glad that's not happening in my area...

Thursday we wrapped up the exchange, and started a new one with the Zone Leaders. Elder Mitchel and I got to teach a couple lessons, and had a dinner with the Grubbs. They make such good grub (I'm sorry, I had to). Love them!

Friday, we were able to go to the pantry, and later on Elder Mitchel and I knocked into some Iranian lady, who said she was a Zoroaster or something. I guess there's a first for everything! We might actually be able to teach her more, and hopefully she can see how beautiful the gospel is! Then that evening we were able to teach Richard, make sure he's good to go for his interview. He's come so far, and I am convinced he is finally ready for baptism. So excited for him.

Saturday we went to the Bair's for coordination breakfast, then helped the Dix's move. That was complicated, and we actually had to take apart some stairs to move the last couch. No clue how they got it down there.

Sunday was great! Kevin was able to get the priesthood, and both Rachel and Kevin had their temple recommend interviews, and we'll be going to the temple with them on Friday!!! I'm SOO EXCITED!!!

That's the week in recap. I did get an alright poem this week, but the pictures were scarce (I misplaced my camera, and only found it this morning)

~~
A man sits alone in the pew,
Pondering, his week in review.
His imperfections, not a few,
Make him doubt, "can this be true?"

Glancing up, he sees the glass.
Stained, rough, and riddled with cracks.
Yet despite the fractured parts,
That stained glass touched his heart.

So, a lesson, taught through art,
Helped a man in some small part,
To view his scars, to help him see,
His broken life as a masterpiece.
~~

Love you all! The priesthood is real, and the gospel is true! Don't ever forget that!

WEARING A BACKPACK AGAIN!!! (Headed to exchanges)
