A House of Order

Hello all you beautiful people!

This week FLEW by! We expected that, but now it's p-day again, and I feel like I was just here! It's crazy stuff, time.

Tuesday was a very unusual day, something called Apartment Appreciation Day. Basically we spent the entire day cleaning unless we had lessons scheduled prior. We hadn't scheduled anything, so the entire day was for cleaning. So much fun. You can see all the pictures. We rearranged everything, and it's really good. Still catching mice though.

While we were cleaning though, we dug through our unfinished, creepy attic. While we were exploring, we found all this SUPER old stuff up there. Among the stuff we found a crumbling newspaper dated for 1919. Crazy cool. Pics attached.

Then on Wednesday we had new trainers meeting! That was so fun! Five of the Elders from my MTC district (myself included) are all turnaround training, so we had a good time. It's so good to see those guys.

Thusday was our only day to really get work done this week, and it was AMAZING!!! All week we'd been stressing about not doing missionary work, but we decided to have faith that God would make up the difference on the days we could work. Wow, faith preceedeth the miracle!

We started the day kinda floating from place to place, but for some reason we felt we needed to go home and look at the area book. We did, and we found two former investigators we wanted to visit. One of them lives in Mendon, which is 20 minutes away. Usually we don't contact FI's, or go to Mendon, but we felt that was what we needed to do. We arrived, knocked on the door, and the people had moved. I kinda awkwardly started to teach this guy. An hour later he was asking us to teach him, and if he could come to church! So cool. Drive 20 minutes, knock on one door, super solid investigator, drive back. God does care for His flock, and leads us where he wants us to go.

The rest of the day was similar, being led from place to place. Every person we talked to that day committed to come to church. None of them actually showed up, but most are highly likely to come next Sunday. It's amazing stuff.

Friday was Zone Conference and Richards baptismal interview!!! Such a good day, I love Zone Conferences. Richard passed, and will be baptized this Saturday evening. SO EXCITED FOR HIM!!! We wrapped up the day taking a bunch of sweet silhouette pictures in front of the temple! You can see those beauties below.

Saturday was a good day too. We helped some people move in, in a torrential downpour. I don't know how I'm not sick after that. Then we went to a member baptism, then they took us to a "restaurant" (it was totally a bar) for dinner. It was good food, but I felt like I was in enemy territory the whole time.

Sunday was just a delightful Sabbath! We also visited a Former investigator after church, and apparently he's related to like, 12 other former investigators. He's gonna help us get all of them to Ricks baptism this Saturday. I'm pumped!

That's my week! It was a great one! Super excited to see where things that started this week end up!

I did get a poem out this week. It's a different style of poem, called a diamonte or something like that. A good friend who taught me how to write poetry started off by teaching me how to write these.
