Transfers!

Hey y'all!

This week was some crazy stuff! Super fun, super long, but also super short at the same time... Time makes zero sense out here.

Anyway, last Monday was NOT p-day, which was pretty lame. We did still get to email though, which was great! Then Tuesday was transfer calls, which settled our fates! Some crazy stuff happened, but as far as our area goes, Elder Hadfield from Hannibal got replaced by Elder Olsen, and Elder Ingram (Love him! Gonna miss him!) got replaced by Elder Mitchell, whom I already love as well.

Then, on Wednesday, we had our Transfer P-day before everyone took off to their new areas. We went to Nauvoo to go to the Temple, then we had a big lunch party at a member's home, drank some hot sauce, and headed to Carthage. That was such an incredible place. If any of you are ever out here, please visit the jail.

Then everybody took off and showed up on Thursday. But honestly, it was a pretty boring day.

Friday was the get to know you district meeting, and we played sardines in the church, which was super fun. Then we helped set up for a wedding the next day. We spent a ton of time on Saturday helping with the wedding as well.

Sunday, everyone bailed on coming to church, which is hard. But most of them are dealing with the death of a loved one, so it's a delicate process to help them.

Over all, this week was just super crazy and super fun. We've seen miracles left and right. God is good!

Poetry time!

Walking, knocking in the dark.
Useless, no one answers.
Disappointed, the doubts start.
Still, I obey, and do my part.

Why would God, in wisdom rich,
Ask me to do something pointless?
But who am I, a servant small,
To question His grand plan at all?

In fact, I think that meant for me,
This pointless knocking was assigned.
And as I think, I start to see,
Faith over reason, His will over mine.

And in that moment,
Acting in faith, just the same,
Miracles start falling,
Sweet blessings, like rain.

Have a great week y'all! Don't be afraid to ask God for miracles, He's waiting to give them to you!

Elder Housholder

At TCBY again! We're getting bored of them taking normal pictures of us, so we're getting creative.

At The Temple!

Nauvoo!

At Carthage with the boys.

At Carthage with the boys.

At Carthage with the boys.

Elder McCain and my birthday cake from the Higgins!

Hiding in a less-active's basement when he sent us from the hospital to throw away all his smoking junk.

And the wedding that we almost single-handedly put together. I'd say I'm a pretty great wedding set up man... ;)
