Duty to God

This week has been wonderful! So crazy.  On Tuesday, we had exchanges with the fourth ward, and we had a riot. Cool experience that day, we were trying and trying to just eat dinner, but things kept getting in the way, and we kept finding people to teach, so our priorities were against eating. Anyway, after a baptism that night for the YSA, we decided to go to Wendy's. Right when we got out of the car, late at night, starving and just wanting to eat, a couple guys flagged us down and we had an amazing lesson with them. I love being about the Lord's work, and being able to put my desires aside to do the things he would have me do. Wednesday was interviews! That was crazy. We had interviews in Iowa City in the morning and then had to bomb it up to Cedar Rapids in the middle of the storm for interviews in the afternoon. Very long day. Yup.  Every area, a new pest.  This is far worse than the mice, or the paracites.  However, it's been fun, cause we get to sleep with the YSA elders now. It's been a riot. We'll be there for at least two more weeks, possibly longer. It's a party.  This week has been crazy though. Not only are we living in two places at once, but Iowa City got hit by a tornado, and it was game day. It was wild.  On a spiritual note though, we were able to teach some amazing lessons this week, I've felt the spirit very strong, and been able to testify with power. Missionary work is incredible.  Yesterday we had a dinner/birthday party with a member, and she shared a quote which perfectly summarized what I've learned about obedience on my mission.
